ABOUT US

what is taekwondo?

Taekwondo is one of the most structured and traditional Korean martial arts styles, that teaches more than just fighting skills. It is a discipline that enhances our spirit and life through training our body and mind. In Korea, Taekwondo began as a defense martial art called "Subak" or "Taekkyon," and was developed as a way of training body and mind in the ancient kingdom of Koguryo, under the name of "Sunbae." Taekwondo improves coordination and balance, self-esteem, confidence, respect, attitude, fitness, and perseverance.
